Club members make their own choices and decisions, supported, where appropriate, by a staff team trained in Dementia support.

New Ash Green Active Retirement Association (NAGARA)

Activities include
A monthly meeting comprising of a report from the Chairman on current issues; A raffle followed by tea coffee and biscuits; A guest speaker – usually very entertaining.
A luncheon club that usually meets bi-monthly for lunch at a local pub or restaurant
A theatre group, that organises visits to the Orchard and London for a wide variety of plays and shows.
At least one holiday a year. (Holland in September 2017 and Lake Como June 2018.)
Day Trips - sometimes by coach and sometimes by members making their own way.
Walks - usually about 3 miles

Prospective members are welcome to attend 2 or 3 meetings to find out more about the club and decide whether or not they wish to join. The guest fee is £2, members pay a meeting fee of £1, all of which helps towards the cost of tea, biscuits, guest speaker and village hall hire.

There is currently a short waiting list for new members since numbers are limited by the capacity of the village hall.

Activities include
A monthly meeting comprising of a report from the Chairman on current issues; A raffle followed by tea coffee and biscuits; A guest speaker – usually very entertaining.
A luncheon club that usually meets bi-monthly for lunch at a local pub or restaurant
A theatre group, that organises visits to the Orchard and London for a wide variety of plays and shows.
At least one holiday a year. (Holland in September 2017 and Lake Como June 2018.)
Day Trips - sometimes by coach and sometimes by members making their own way.
Walks - usually about 3 miles

Prospective members are welcome to attend 2 or 3 meetings to find out more about the club and decide whether or not they wish to join. The guest fee is £2, members pay a meeting fee of £1, all of which helps towards the cost of tea, biscuits, guest speaker and village hall hire.

There is currently a short waiting list for new members since numbers are limited by the capacity of the village hall.
