"I am proud to report on the wide range of activities and learning opportunities which are available to members. In addition to the varied interest groups, there are the regular outings, theatre visits, dining events and country walks. New interest groups have developed during the last year: Wine Appreciation, Spanish, Outdoor Art, Table Tennis, Internet of Things. I am particularly pleased that our monthly meetings have included presentations and displays by individual groups. It is always interesting to discover what other groups have been doing. I believe the displays foster a feeling of cohesion. They reinforce the notion of association and inclusion. They are also an excellent way to publicise the individual study groups."
